We're ORELIS LABS, a team of editors, strategists and motion designers obsessed with one question: what makes a viewer stay? Founded in 2021, we've turned that question into a system that has engineered 250M+ views for creators across history, finance, true crime, comedy and sports.
Good content deserves to be watched. Every day, hours of genuinely great content go unwatched. Not because it's bad, but because it was cut like an obligation, packaged like an afterthought, and published like a hope.
We started the lab because we got tired of watching that happen. Two editors, one conviction: the algorithm is not a lottery. It rewards videos that hold attention, and attention is an engineering problem.
So we built the machine. Hooks measured in milliseconds. Pacing tuned to retention curves. Thumbnails tested like headlines. Publishing on a calendar, not a whim.

The edit bay
Founded by two editors who kept watching great footage die in mediocre cuts. Started with one laptop, one camera and a lot of 2 a.m. exports.
First 1M+ view video
A finance channel's hook rebuild became our first viral video. The channel gained 90K subscribers in nine days. The phone didn't stop ringing.
The strategy arm
Editing alone wasn't enough. We added research, thumbnails and title testing, and the team grew from two to twelve people across three time zones.
Partnership model
We stopped selling one off edits and started running channels end to end. Forty plus creators now ship every week on a system we own completely.
